Sound like you?

Fear of losing control or feeling like you're failing or feeling overwhelmed with new responsibilities and identities changes?

The perinatal period—the time during pregnancy and the first years after childbirth—can be filled with emotional and physical challenges. If you're feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or struggling with your mental health, you’re not alone.

It’s common to feel like you’re not in control, especially if you’re managing mental health struggles or facing overwhelming stress. You’re not failing—you’re doing your best, and with the right support, you can regain control and find peace.

Becoming a parent is life-changing, and it can feel overwhelming to adjust to the demands of pregnancy or caring for a newborn. You don’t have to navigate this journey alone—let’s work together to manage your emotions and find balance.

You’re allowed to struggle and explore ways to increase your ability to cope.

I’m here for you.

Pregnancy, birth, and postpartum ask a lot of any woman's body and sense of control, but if you've survived sexual violence, this chapter can bring up things you didn't expect to feel again. Medical exams that require you to be exposed and touched. Loss of say over what happens to your body. Hypervigilance that doesn't turn off once the baby arrives. None of that means something is wrong with you, it means your history and this moment are speaking to each other, and that deserves care that understands both.

This is where my work lives: supporting women who are healing from trauma while also navigating pregnancy, birth, or life with a new baby; with an approach that treats both as connected, not separate.

When trauma and this life’s chapter intersect

If this sounds familiar, you don't have to untangle it alone.

Choosing not to seek perinatal mental health services can lead to prolonged emotional and psychological struggles that affect every aspect of life, from personal well-being to relationships and parenting. Seeking help provides an opportunity for recovery, healing, and build a healthier, more fulfilling experience during this significant life phase.

How Perinatal Mental Health Therapy works:

  • Phase 1

The first step is all about listening and understanding. Together, we’ll explore your unique experiences, challenges, and emotions. This is a safe space where you can openly share what you're going through, whether it's anxiety, mood changes, or just feeling overwhelmed. We’ll work to understand your needs and create a plan that supports your mental well-being during this transformative time.

  • Phase 2

In this step, we’ll introduce effective, easy-to-use strategies to help you manage stress, improve your mood, and feel more in control. Using proven therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness, we’ll help you shift negative thoughts, build resilience, and connect more deeply with yourself and your baby. You’ll leave each session with practical tools you can use right away in your daily life.

  • Phase 3

As you move forward, we’re here for you with ongoing support. Life during the perinatal period can change quickly, so we’ll check in regularly to adjust our approach to your needs.
